Matt Dzugan, our trombonist, is an artificial intelligence data scientist at a Chicago startup by day and a Tromboning-Ninja by night. A Chicagoland native, Matt is a die-hard White Sox fan and was practically raised at Comiskey Park. At age 10 Matt chose to play the trombone because it seemed to be the most hilarious of the instruments offered in the school band... and the rest is history. After graduating from college Matt moved to Los Angeles, but after 5+ years decided that the weather was just too nice and came back to sweet home Chicago. Along the way Matt has played keyboards and trombone in various rock, jazz, and funk groups including A Certain Groove, The Urban Renewal Project and even the Daytime Emmy Awards Pit Orchestra.
